Choice’s background:
Choice was established in 2004 by our Director, John Quaif. The Choice brand was built around the key values of ‘honesty’ and ‘trustworthiness’.
Moreover and above all else, John expects Choice to deliver high levels of ‘service’ and ‘professionalism’ at all times. These attributes have been the key ingredients used to establish long term client relationships.
Therefore, it is no coincidence that the majority of our business is introduced by personal recommendations.

Tom started at Choice in 2012. He initially worked as a Wealth Administrator and then qualified as a Mortgage Adviser and worked for our sister company, Choice Mortgage Solutions. After a few more years of studying, he qualified as an Independent Financial Adviser and then re-joined the Wealth Team. His knowledge of both sides of the business has proved to be very beneficial for the company and clients alike.
At Choice, we understand that each client is unique, with distinct aspirations and financial circumstances. What I find particularly rewarding is the opportunity to tailor strategies that cater to both big milestones and smaller, yet equally significant, financial goals and objectives. The comprehensive range of services and resources at Choice empowers me to provide clients with professional and personalised advice.
Tom is very family orientated and over the past few years, has become a father of three. As an avid Arsenal fan, in his spare time, Tom enjoys following the Arsenal football team and tries to go to games when the busy home life permits. Tom is also a bit of a petrolhead and loves his days out at Goodwood for events such as the Festival of Speed and the Revival.

John brings 29 years of industry experience to Choice, which our clients benefit from on a daily basis. John specialises in; Retirement Planning, including pension transfers and tax planning advice around the annual and lifetime allowance. He also heads our Investment Management Committee and plays a very active role in managing our In-House portfolios.
Over the years I have gained a reputation for being able to put quite complex financial matters into layman’s terms. This has enabled me to engage and assist clients who may not otherwise have acted on the right financial advice. With Choice, I have been able to develop client relationships and help them to achieve their financial goals as their life plans unfold. Looking back, I have found this very rewarding.
An old rocker at heart, in his spare time, John still enjoys playing guitar and writing and recording music. He has always loved cars and enjoys days at Goodwood, especially the Goodwood Revival. In recent times, John has become a Grandad and whilst the name tag took some getting used to, spending time with his two grandsons makes everything else worthwhile.

Lloyd started working for Choice in 2017 having previously worked at Barclays and Ageas. Starting as a Wealth Administrator, Lloyd qualified to become an Independent Financial Adviser and brings extensive customer support and knowledge to the role.
As an independent financial adviser, my focus lies in efficient client communication. I thrive on building meaningful connections with people. My approach is not just about numbers and figures, it’s about understanding my clients and their unique financial journey. This will allow me to provide strategic solutions that benefit my clients’ and help them achieve their financial objectives.
In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, going to gigs and playing football.

Debbie overlooks our accounts and payroll. Debbie has worked for 36 years in financial services. Having been with Choice since the start, Debbie helped John build the business. She is a valuable member of the team and ensures we keep the company finances on track.
I enjoy working for Choice as I have a love of figures and have a good working relationship with my colleagues.
Debbie is a country girl at heart. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking her two dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
